Terms and conditions

Welcome to Webly (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our web design, development, and hosting services (“Services”). By engaging with us or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Services Provided

Webly offers a range of digital services, including but not limited to:

  • Website design and development

  • Website hosting and maintenance

  • Domain registration support

  • Search engine optimization (SEO)

  • E-commerce and CMS integration

Specific deliverables will be outlined in your personalized Service Agreement or Proposal.


2. Client Responsibilities

Clients working with Webly agree to:

  • Provide all necessary content, feedback, and approvals promptly.

  • Ensure all provided content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on third-party rights.

  • Maintain active communication throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Keep their contact and billing information up to date.


3. Payment Terms

  • A deposit (typically 50%) is required before work begins.

  • The remaining balance is due upon completion or prior to website launch unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Hosting and maintenance plans are billed monthly or annually in advance.

  • Payments not received within [e.g., 14 days] of the due date may result in paused services and late fees.


4. Project Timelines

Project timelines vary based on scope and client responsiveness. Webly will provide an estimated timeline in the project proposal. Delays in content delivery, feedback, or approvals may lead to adjusted completion dates.


5. Revisions

Each project includes a set number of design revisions (typically 2–3). Additional revisions or changes beyond the initial scope may incur extra charges and will be quoted separately.


6. Hosting Terms

  • Webly offers secure, managed hosting solutions.

  • Hosting is provided on a monthly or yearly subscription basis.

  • Accounts that are overdue or violate our Acceptable Use Policy may be suspended or terminated.

  • We perform routine backups, but clients are encouraged to maintain their own backups as well.


7. Intellectual Property

  • Once full payment is received, ownership of the final website design, graphics, and custom content is transferred to the client.

  • Webly retains the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio and promotional materials.

  • Any proprietary code, frameworks, or tools developed by Webly remain the intellectual property of Webly unless otherwise agreed in writing.


8. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the agreement in writing with reasonable notice.

  • If a project is terminated early by the client, Webly reserves the right to invoice for all work completed up to the date of termination.

  • No refunds will be issued for completed work or prepaid hosting plans.


9. Liability and Disclaimers

  • Webly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services.

  • We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, such as search engine rankings or increased sales.

  • Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question.


10. Confidentiality

Both Webly and the client agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any sensitive business, technical, or personal information exchanged during the course of the project.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert Country/State]. Any legal disputes will be handled in the courts of [Insert Jurisdiction].


12. Changes to Terms

Webly reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
